Citigroup launches big things with CSM work

We were pretty proud of that bit of work and we were happy that Citigroup was getting a great project from us. It’s just that days after the completion we read in the news that a facet of the project we illustrated in a e-learning application comprised several thousand pink slips.
We didn’t form any policy or decisions and we certainly weren’t privy to any sensitive information this time around but in the end, when you put a human number on this project… it is kinda sobering.
Sure we created a project for a client that is like any project we create but at the end of the day we just talked about one portion of what they (Citigroup) had in store. We made the handle for the axe… not the axe. OK, not even the handle but more like the little placard that says ”This is a handle for an axe.” But I must say that there was no indication that the axe in the narrative above was intended to be used in any way resembling the use that it was… used… for.
So cheers to another mutually rewarding project out of the CSM hot-house of ideas. And heartfelt well-wishings to 17,000 people out there.
