Clear Span Media launches new imprint that caters to ad agencies. Riot Labs is Born - Part One.

As a full service provider Clear Span Media boasts an outstanding list of in-house talent. The CSM website team has always worked to best convey the services offered to the end-use client as well as to our “resellers” in the ad industry.
Communicating these strengths can spell confusion and drive away agencies reluctant to expose their own clients to a potential competitor. Still CSM has enjoyed the attention from both end-use clients as well as a measure of ad agencies over the years.
CSM’s talent base has steadily developed placing us at the skill level of the best design shops in the country and we have greatly increased our offerings in technology development as well.
So we decided that it is time to present our depth of talent in an imprint that offers only the items the agency industry needs for their clients and pricing sensitive to their budget requirements.
Riot Labs is born.
Ad agencies now have access to a single entity that is focused on delivering the latest and best advancements. All with none of that pesky “we’ll steal your client” thingie. And because we design as well as develop back-end systems, we deliver turn-key projects with an ease that the most demanding agency can appreciate.
Most of the non-agency world won’t see the inner workings of Riot Labs but here is a glimpse of CSM’s new entity.
Using a theme of revolutionaries fighting back against oppressive and anti-creative forces in a dystopian world, a’ la The Matrix or V for Vendetta; Riot Labs promises: “They can’t take our creativity away.”
Virtual characters representing the developers and staff of Riot Labs challenge the Riot Labs audience to “Go ahead… Start something!” Completing the motif is a full spectrum experience and storyline from website to promo materials and even interaction with the virtual characters.
“We want to make things fun… even funny… for the creatives in our industry”, says Adrian Gonzales, Jr., co-founder of Riot Labs and President of Design & Development of Clear Span Media.
“We all have all of this talent and concept ability and we need to express it in everything we do… otherwise what is the point? People have always commented on how much humor and creativity we have during a project or a given session. But the day-to-day-business world is too mundane, too stiff. My dad always says ‘make someone laugh or give them something to think about and they’ll go a long way with you.’ That’s what we’re doing with this imprint.”
